In Simple Terms
- We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the platform.
- We do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics cookies.
- No cookie consent banner is required because we do not use non-essential cookies.
- This policy applies to the SSP Manager platform and all connected SSP sites that consume this API.
Cookie Policy
SSP Systems Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the SSP Manager platform and related SSP sites (collectively, the "Service"). This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, and how you can control them.

What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or web application when you visit or log in. They allow the Service to remember information about your session, such as your authentication state or preferred language, so you do not have to re-enter it on every page.
Similar technologies — such as local storage, session storage, and HTTP-only tokens — serve the same purpose and are covered by this policy.
Cookies We Use
1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Service to function. Without them, you cannot log in or use authenticated features. They do not require your consent under PIPEDA, GDPR, or ePrivacy Directive because they have no tracking or analytics purpose.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ssp_session | Maintains your authenticated session across page loads | Session (cleared on browser close) |
XSRF-TOKEN | Protects against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks | Session |
ssp_remember_token | Keeps you logged in when "Remember Me" is selected | 30 days |
ssp_locale | Remembers your preferred language/locale setting | 1 year |
2. Functional Cookies (SSP Sites)
SSP-operated sites (including the marketing website and dashboard portals) may set the following functional cookies to improve your experience. These do not track you across third-party sites.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ssp_theme | Remembers your light/dark mode preference | 1 year |
ssp_dismissed_* | Records which informational banners you have dismissed | 30 days |
3. Cookies We Do NOT Use
We do not use:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag)
- Third-party analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar)
- Social media tracking pixels
- Cross-site behavioral tracking of any kind
If we introduce optional analytics in the future (such as first-party tools like PostHog or Amplitude), we will update this policy, display a consent notice where required, and provide opt-out controls.
Cookie Duration
- Session cookies expire when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for the duration stated in the table above, or until you clear them manually.
How to Manage Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. The links below guide you to the relevant settings pages for common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Note: Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in and using authenticated features of the Service.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because we do not engage in cross-site behavioral tracking, our Service's behavior does not change in response to DNT signals — you are already protected by default.
Sharing of Cookie Data
We do not sell or share cookie data with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes. Cookie data may be processed by our infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS) solely for the purpose of operating the Service, under strict data processing agreements.
Connected SSP Sites
This policy applies to all SSP-operated web properties that fetch legal documents from the SSP API, including but not limited to the SSP Manager dashboard, the SSP public marketing site, and any future SSP portals. Each site retrieves this policy via:

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
